"A pretty run of the mill Asian joint. It says Thai on the sign and they do have a large selection of Thai dishes, but they also serve up some really interesting sounding sushi rolls and have a small sushi bar against the wall in addition to the tables. The high ceilings alleviate the crowded feeling due to the proximity of the tables and at night it could almost pass for intimate with the low lighting if you're along the wall. The food wouldnt bring me back, but the speed at which it came out was astounding and would definitely make this a great spot for weekday lunch." -Corrie
"Good solid sushi! I had the Bangkok Roll and the Maryland Roll and it was delicious!
"I have to admit I was a bit skeptical of a restaurant that serves Thai and sushi but this place has great Thai food (haven't tried the sushi yet).
We ordered take-out and since the prices were low and this was our first try with this restaurant (that's my excuse, and I'm sticking to it), my husband and I ordered three entrees and an appetizer...we got the spring rolls, Phad Thai, Green Curry and the Thai Chef Lomein. There was not a wrong choice in the bunch! They were all very tasty, fresh and plentiful!
Some Thai restaurants make their food on the sweet side...I am happy to say, this is not one of them! Also, some Thai restaurants skimp on the chopped ingredients in their curry so it is mainly sauce; AGAIN this is not one of them. In fact, when I opened the container for the Green Curry, there was so much stuff in it, I thought it was one of the other entrees and dished on the plate first...it wasn't until I put the last of the 3 entrees on the plate did I realize I put the curry on the plate instead of the bowls that I had out on the table!
We are so happy find an amazing Thai restaurant in our neighborhood!." -Casandra
"Loved this place! We stopped in after seeing that they had a happy hour from 4-7 on a Saturday. Unfortunately we weren't hungry enough to get any sushi but everything we saw brought out to other people looked amazing.
We had the lycheetini, a mai tai, saki, nd red bull + vodkas all for $4 each. The drinks were delicious.
Would definitely go back here for happy hour and food next time in Dupont Circle.
Good, fast service; the drunken noodles were also decent and seemed to have a little more character than most places.
